Fishing Tools
Our fishing tool portfolio is built for reliability, versatility, and performance in the industry’s toughest environments, from shallow interventions to deep, high-pressure horizontals. From overshots and spears to washover and milling assemblies, WOS provides a complete line of thru-tubing and stickpipe fishing tools. Each is engineered, manufactured, and tested in-house for consistent performance and compatibility with our other downhole technologies.
Guardian
The Guardian System is an on-demand set of contingency dual flapper check valves that can be run in the tool string as a backup well control device. It is run in the passive mode and remains as such until activated by dropping a 1” ball which is then captured within the tool to not interfere with ball drop activated tools run beneath.
Hybrid Drillout System
The Hybrid Drillout System allows for plug milling and the landing of production tubing to be performed in one trip using an integral BHA. During milling operations, the Hybrid System is rated for pump rates and torsional values that exceed that of downhole motors and production strings. The built-in dual flapper safety valves provide a well control barrier until the tubing is landed. Once tubing is landed a dissolvable ball is dropped to shift a mandrel through the safety valves, exposing a ported sub, which allows for production to start through the Hybrid tool.
EaZyDrill
The EaZy Drill is an Extended Reach Tool that enhances weight transfer and extends coiled tubing reach to achieve TD. The innovative design creates pressure pulsation which aids in friction reduction as well as providing an axial force to increase weight transfer at the bit. The EaZy Drill increases rate of penetration in extended lateral operations for coil or stick pipe operations. Various valve arrangements easily configurable to client specified needs for optimal milling allowing for less weight on bit applied at surface while maintaining a higher rate of penetration.
IH Jars
The Workover Solutions Igneous HAMMR Jars can be used for fishing, workover and frac plug milling operations on both coiled tubing and stick pipe operations. The WOS Jars are robust, dependable; provide a high jarring impact while maintaining a short overall length. They are conventionally run as bidirectional hydraulic jars but can easily be converted to be unidirectional jars, for fishing operations, or as bumper jars. The WOS Jars are unique since they can be pinned in the closed position prior to operations. In doing so this eliminates some of the internal seal failures associated with jars being ran on milling operations with extended reach tools.
